Graduating with a Bachelor of Music and Minor in Education, Susan began her career as a music educator in grades K through 9. As a recording and touring artist, Susan has had the honor of working with Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, Hoyt Axton, Mary Wellsamong many. Entrepreneurial by nature, Susan and husband Alex Cyrell founded companies Omnimount®️ Systems and Future Primitive Designs in their Hollywood garage, ultimately distributing the products worldwide in more than 50 countries.
For nine years, Susan was a judge for Fox TV’s Arizona Idol, the advance team that pre-selects American Idol contestants. Susan and Dick Wagner first met in 1978, when they were introduced by Alice Cooper at Davlin Recording Studios in North Hollywood, CA. In 2004, Wagner asked Susan to become his manager and business partner, a relationship that flourished until his passing in 2014. Together, Dick & Susan produced over a dozen videos, concerts, and music fundraisers — donating their talent to benefit the lives of others. Working with children in music and in the world of professional music, Susan has a profound passion for the power of music to inspire and heal.
As Producer and Artist Manager, Susan focuses on Artist Development — the composite development of an inspiring musician into a professional artist – from image to training in craft, to growth as a stage performer and songwriter. As a writer and editor for books and magazines, Susan was Editor of Dick Wagner’s multi-award-winning memoir, “Not Only Women Bleed.” An avid linguaphile, Susan is fluent in English, Spanish, French, and some Italian.
